Assignment # 8

     The ad i have chosen is about cadbury chocolate and i thought this ad was quite intresting becasue i love chocolate and i know how chocolate can put a smile on anyones face no matter how old you are. I don't think i will have an easy time writing this paper but i will  really try hard to write this paper. when i chose this topic all i was thinking in my head was about chocolate how i was craving it so badly  so i just searched up my favorite chocolate Cadbury and suddenly just thought of looking for an ad and decided to write a analysis paper on this.
      This ad had a young boy carrying a big chocolate and the boy was kind of chubby and had a glowy, happy look on his face so i thought how chocolate does make you gain weight but also keep you happy.

Assignment # 6

     The rhetorical situation from my literacy narrative paper and the ad analysis paper have many differences. The audience for my literacy narrative paper was for people who dislike writing and dont understand why. The audience for my ad analysis is pretty much for anyone its about the increasing love of chocolate. The purpose of my literacy narrative was to tell a story about an experience i had with   writing a paper and if it was a good or a bad experience. The purpose for the ad analysis paper to see through your ad and find out the message its sending out to the world and what is it about.  the tone for my literacy narrative was a little serious and had a little bit of anger but my analysis paper will have a nice romantic type tone.  My writing strategy will be quite different than my literacy narrative.

Assigntment # 5: Analyzing an Advertisement

Purpose: to show how chocolates can increase love in any age and to anyone.

Audience: everyone mostly people who are confused about  getting something to their loved one

Genre: this ad is similar to salesmen ads ways to find out selling chocolate

Tone: the tone is sweet and romantic.

Literacy Narrative Topic

 The topic I could actually talk about could be the time I traveled alone for the first time.  The pros for this topic are that I could actually explain step by step how I tried to get where I wanted to and how amazing this trip went. The cons would be that I won’t be able to tell how I felt exactly.  

  I could write an effective literacy narrative paper on this topic because I could explain my first time traveling alone without my parents. I could explain my experience going through the whole process at the airport.

  Another topic I could talk about is coming to Northeastern Illinois University.  I could talk about how it was so hard for me to adjust around new people and how I will interact with people who I don't even know.  I could also talk about how high school was so different than College. 

 The pros for this topic are I could give examples about it and it happened not so long ago so I won’t even have problem writing about it.  The cons are that I won’t be able to explain it in three pages.

 Another topic I could is my experience with working with young children.  I could actually write an effective paper on this because I could show how kids have so many questions in their mind where we can’t even answer them.  Also how I try understanding young minds.  

 The pros for this topic could be I could explain my experience in details and how I see kid’s behavior changing in everyday life.  The cons for this topic are that not many people will understand what I am trying to show.  

  

English 101

Why am I taking English 101? I really do not like writing but I still do when i have to also I am not a fan of writing but I have to take this class anyways.  Since I am taking this class I would actually want to get something out of it instead of trying to pass and getting it out of my way. My goals for this class are that I want to learn how to be a better reader, and writer, and I would like to improve my writing skills.   I have never liked writing essays but when I do I really like expressing whatever is in my head.  I also want to learn read and write professionally when it comes to being an education major.  I am looking forward to accomplish something in this class and ready to learn something new every day.
